It has been months since i felt like tired everyday.. But now im up and excited and ready to shine! I didnt go to vacation or any relaxation period... I'm just preoccupied with competitions and collaborations with other artists. Its my way of relaxation. You might think that im a workaholic.. Well it works for me to stay up late cause of drawing or reading design stuff. It relaxes me mentally.
My day job is fun.. a lot of work but fun.. You don't hear that from a lot of people. Hahahahah! Resting is still not a priority for me. Im gonna rest when im old. That's because i have to. But since im young and very energetic and excited, might as well take advantage of that...
I'm kinda against what my friend told me months ago. he told me that he doesnt want to work his ass off right now. He wants to take it slow since he is still young. He will focus on work when he is old maybe in his 30's. I totally disagree bout what he said.. I didn't tell him that. Not in front of his face. It's his opinion and vision, dont want to start a debate that night. When i went home, i reflected on what he said. I just cant see the logic why go slow when your young. Thats agianst the law of body clock (my body clock). My belief is when you have the strength or talent to do something, do it.. Now i have the skills and strength that i moght not have 10 years from now... So within that 10 year period i have to do what i have to.. Then maybe 10 years from now im already on the top or near the top. Thats when physical work will be limited cause i know i'll sleep more often or the sleeping hours should be longer or i have to focus on my family. But since physically im limited already, it's time to get my brain do the work more. Age comes with wisdom... it deosnt say wge comes with strength... hahahaha! i dont know if im getting anywhere.. Bottomline, use and abuse.. sow before you reap.. You'll only live once, better make your ending stress free.. I know you want to look good and stress free in your coffin right? I do.

More Art Means Less Money For Me
Image from www.veer.com
I read an article from behancemag.com and it was about following passion and not the buck. If you're gonna ask me whats my passion, its doing artworks. Not only in digital but also in other mediums. I want to paint, learn graffiti, create toys and other stuff that I find interesting and at the same time will make me grow as an artist. And in order for me to do a lot of things, I need an awful amount of free time which is not possible for me to have because i have 2 jobs. So i've decided to call it quits for the other job that i have. It's hard because the 2nd job helps me financially. I can buy things easier cause i have "exta money". Before i've decided to quit, I had to manage time like a juggler juggling 8 knives while drunk and sleepy. I miss hanging out on saturday afternoon with my friends, staying up late on a Friday or go to a mall after lunch on a Saturday. In short i didnt have enough free time. Precious time for myself. Then a quick snap happened. I decided i want to rest and persue my art. Im happy to have my Saturday back.
